I have a one step 600 camera and the only batteries are built into the film cartridge. So you replace the batteries every time you put in film.

Yes, polaroid cameras run off of batteries. Depends on what model you are using.

Yes. Remove the polaroid refill cartridge. Pop off the battery cover. Insert new battery.

If you are referring to the type of camera where the photo develops in your hand after being taken you will find that the film packs are already charged enough to power the camera to take all the photos in the pack.

The battery is actually in the film pack. That's why you shouldn't leave the camera open when you're not taking a picture That's also why it's really important to keep those film packs in a cool dry dark place.

WHAT IF YOU HAVE A FILM PACK FROM 15 YEARS AGO WHERE THE BATTERIES ARE MOST LIKELY DEAD. CAN YOU CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN THE FILM CARTRIDGE?
