I have one or two digital panorama shots created using Canon's photostitch program, and I would like to print them out (approximately 12" long by 2" to 4" wide). I found a couple places online that can make digital panoramic prints ( http://www.imageevent.com and http://www.ezprints.com ), but I don't know anything about them as far as quality and trustworthiness.

If you've ever printed a digital panoramic shot, please let me know where you used and if the print was good quality. Thanks!

I had one printed with Snapfish - an HP company with good results. The pic has roughly the same dimensions as you mentioned and I'm really happy with it.
Snapfish has pics printed with a resolution of 200 dpi so the original should be at least 2400 pixels long for the size you want.
Make sure that the print is made "as is" (I am not sure how that version is called correctly but online fotoprinters usually offer two options which are explained in their help sections)you will get it on poster size paper (12" x 8" or something like that) with white parts where the pic is to small to for the regular format. If you don't use that option they try to fill the whole print which means that parts of the longer sides will be cut and you would not want that with a panorama.
