I've seen them used for wallets, cameras and other things.
If you know what they are called and can provide some websites that have them, that'd be great. Thanks so much.

I am very interested in purchasing a digital SLR camera to learn with. I have taken a photography class and would like to experiment more creatively with a digital SLR so I would say I am a beginner. I am mainly looking at Canon and Nikon. I have other Canon products which I am very happy with but the D-SLRs are a bit on the pricey side from my budget right now, however I do hear that they have the widest range of lenses. So my questions: 1) What are the main differences between the Canon Rebel series and say the 20 or 30D models? 2) Is a Nikon 80D comparable to a Canon 30D? What would you say is the best one for a beginner? 3) If I see a good price on a camrea body alone, should I take it and then invest on a good lens or start off with a kit? --- The cameras that are attractive to me in terms of affordability are the Canon 20D and Nikon D40.

hello all. I have an important question. I am going to be taking pictures in nightclubs and a lot of times, they dont like SLRs with big flashed being in there so a good point and shoot camera is ideal. my question is: when i see pictures taken in nightclubs with a Digital SLR, they just look so different than a point and shoot camera can take. the pictures look more vivid or something. almost like magazine quality and some of these dslrs are only like 8MP. this is an example of a 8MP DSLR shot:http://www.e-fotoportal.com/photos/268/485-8564_IMG-m.jpg

my question is: can a very good digital point and shoot @ 12MP take pictures with this quality or will a DSLR always look different/better? Sony is about to release the DSC-W200 . if you look at this model is 12MP with an ISO up to 6400.

will this camera take these kind of quality shots that the example slr picture does or do you need a SLR to get that type of quality. can someone explain? I want the pics to look really vivid.

I really want the nikon d50 and I found this website, but I'm not too sure about it. It seems kind of fishy. Has anybody bought anything off of here?

I have a Sony DSC-W50 Cyber-Show Digital camera and am looking to attach a FISHEYE converter lens to it by use of a VAD-WB 30mm Lens Adaptor that can be purchased on sony.com however I can't seem to find a FISHEYE lens for this purpose. Any ideas of where to purchase one for my digital camera - NOT a digital camcorder.

I've looked at the different brands and styles, from film to digital and disposable, but it seems like only the expensive ones come with self timers, and not the cheaper ones, but every camera has a basic flash on it. Why is this?

I have a Kodak EasyShare C743. and the G600 dock. Now I can't figure out how to get the pictures out of the camera. I have read the books and that doesn't seem to make sense to me. I don't want to print them right now, I just want to put them in an album so I can share them. I need someone to walk me through each step like teaching a baby. This is driving me nuts because I have some really great pictures. Thanks to anyone with great patience and knowledge.
