Is there a setting I need to adjust to take pictures in motion? Everytime I try to take a picture of my daughter dancing, it comes out blurry.

I'm looking to start college and get a degree in photography. I have previous experience in a studio setting. I need something that doesn't cost to much but is a good starter camera and of course I want it to be digital.

I am looking for another battery for my Panasonic DMC-TZ1. and I have been looking on eBay for one. A lot of people are selling them, and at low prices too. But a lot of people are selling ones that are labelled "1300mAh" and some are at "1000mAh"

The battery that came with my camera is 1000mAh. SO is a 1300mAh battery safe to use with my camera??

Thanks

Darren

I am seeking a camera with the same reliability and speed of a good ole EOS or Nikon F4.. I have both and lenses to go with either, although more for the cannon mount. I am interested in the cycling and return of the camera in taking shots close together and not loosing power after the first "roll" or 30 to 50 shots. Which camera has proven to be the best and friendliest for this type of shooting...? Prefer Sd over Compact but thats just because I have the cards and readers already... Not wanting to spend any more than I have to .. prefferably under $1k... Any one with some advise for me with some use actually under their belts on either of these two cameras? Which models? Thanks for the input!

I am planning on buying an Olympus Evolt E500 with a digital flash. This is my first SLR and I don't know that much about cameras/flashes. So I was wondering, is the Olympus FL-36 a good flash to use with that camera? What features does it have that make good? And most importantly, can you use it wirelessly and will it detect when the camera will take the picture without having to use the on-camera flash? Any help is appreciated.

It just wouldn't turn on today. I charged the battery thinking it was just empty. The light on the charger went to green after a number of hours, but I put the battery back in and it still won't turn on at all. Canon support says it's $107 to get support which doesn't seem worth it since I can get a better new camera for $300. Any ideas?

In a way, I bought this camera in dissapointment. Since I thought it looked like a fair professional camera, it doesn't really seem to work like one. I've always wanted one of 'em CSI kinds going snap snap and click click cameras, but my camera is sure slow with the shutter speed and having blurry quality. If anyone knows more about it, and can help me with settings, functions, etc. Please let me know. Fancy Nikons and Canons are unaffordable, the Kodak is the closest pro camera I'll ever get to.

Second, another dissapointment, is that after I've purchished it, I found it only has two kind of lenses the company produces. Wide and Tele. I wanted a fish eye lenses, and they have in on Ebay, but I was wondering if it's worth trusting. The brand are unheard of. : / Experiences, advices??????

I have been looking at the compact Kodak Easyshare v803 at best buy. However I like the special color options and what not available on the canon cameras, they are just a little pricy. Does anyone have any suggestions or pointers. Perhaps a cheaper camera with the same features?
