After doing some research on digital cameras I have decided on these two as possible candidates. So, should I get the Fujifilm Finepix6000fd or hold out for the upcoming Kodak Z712 IS? I will also look into any other suggestions.

my question is, does the amount of photos taken with the camera effect the quality of the prints?

item description: "Up for sale is a Like New Condition Canon Digital Rebel XT. This camera was bought NEW, the Body is black, and there appears to have no fade on the body at all. The LCD is in excellent shape. No Dings or Dents. It has taken approximately less than 16,000 pictures. The camera does have minor dust and wear but does not affect the quality of pictures. The package includes original battery, charger, manuals, lens cover, USB Wire, Software CD, receipt, all in original box. The camera is sold as is"

I know that the trigger voltage of the flash will possibly damage my camera, and using the transmitter on my hot shoe will be fine as that is what they are designed for - but will the voltage on the flash damage the trigger on the reciever? I am looking at purchasing an old set of bowens studio flash and using my trusty old flashgun off camera with my new nikon d40
