the error message says unable to connect to the device due to the following error; the premiter is incorrect, you have entered an invalid command. Please help me?

I once had the same problem. Every time I tried to transfer my pictures it said not connected even though it was. I found out what happened was that there had been a some kind of virus in the cord and the cord wasn't working. You should called the camera company and see if they can tell you what is wrong. Also it could be something wrong with the camera or the memory card.

I never use the camera to transfer the files. Much more reliable to use a memory card reader. Readers are usually much faster, and it preserves the camera battery.
