i covered an important event. the pictures are ok when i viewed in the camera. i decided to download it but the memory card reader cant reas the memory card. the computer hanged.. then when i transfered my memory card to my camera..it says .. memory card error .. what will i do? can i still retrieve my photos?

if your pictures get trashed on the card, DONT take any more pictures on that card as you can get them all back!
go to www.download.com and type into the search pc inspector smart recovery. and this program will bring back the pictures if theyve been deleted.

Make sure you computer can handle it, mine tend to want to read the entire folder, and if I interrupt it it dies.
insert the card and don't touch it for a few minutes.
you can get an error when you write to the card from your computer, but usually only screws the 1 image

try cleaningg-up those contaminated portion of the sd card pad. if this won't work, you need to replace your sd card. this is an indication of corrupted memory induced by improper logging-out of the card from the pc. be careful of this scenario.
