I have no idea how to search for it. I am usually fairly computer savvy but apparently that is not the case today. Please help!

When you download pictures you tell it where the pictures will be stored. Open up my computer and click on the "C" drive. Click on views at the top and pick detail. Click on the modified heading and it will put the folders in order by last modified date. If you know what day you downloaded the pictures look for a folder that has that date. By opening that folder look for any other folders with that date and your pictures should be stored there. Next time downloading be aware of the folder name and location where the pictures will be stored by default and change it to a location where you want to store pictures.

You could also do a "Search" on your pc.

Start, Run, Search. Change the modified date to just the dates of the photos.

Might take a while, but at least you'll be able to see the picture files. Check the 'location' to see the folder used. Should be in the My Documents folder somewhere.

Okay, first look in your computer's extra drives, and see if anything new comes up there. Open it up and copy the files into whatever part of your computer you keep photos.

I have a Dell, using Windows XP. I'd click on "My Computer" and find a drive that comes up with my camera's name "Nikon D70". Then I open the folders until I see the icons or thumbnails for the pictures. Then I just copy them to "My Pictures" in the C drive.
