not unless you are in front row or actually on stage; beyond that the flash will have no effect but to bounce off of the closest object, darkening your exposure even more.

You are not supposed to take pictures at a concert, and if you do, don't use the flash because it will give you away in 2 seconds and they will confiscate your camera! If this is a concert where you are allowed to use a flash camera, then yes I would use the flash for sure.

i am a photographer,
i take pictures in concerts with out flash,i use my camera in manual mode with an ISO of 800 to 1200,speed 50.
now if you have a onetime camera buy one with an ISO between 800 hundred and up.

Unless you really want to look at the backs of people's heads.
Remember, the concert stage has THOUSANDS of watts of light flooding the stage.
Get as close as possible and shoot away.

no don't use the flash, it distracts the band and may be blinding to have hundreds of lights flashing at you while on stage

depending on how close you are to the stage, it probably wont affect the lighting of the subject.....it will illuminate the back of peoples heads. i use it anyway......
