Dose walmart fix cameras?

2007-02-09 10:07:38 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous

I've owned two different Olympus cameras now and both times have had trouble with battery life. I'll put in a brand new pair of batteries and within an unreasonable amount of time the camera tells me the battery is dead and turns off. I've tried different brands of batteries and still no luck. What gives? Anyone else have this problem?

I have a canon AE 1 which doens't seen to be working. It seems to be working fine when I take the photographs, then when i take it to be developed, there is nothing on the film. Is there anything that I am doing wrong or I can fix, or will I have to take it to a shop to get it fixed?

OMG I just bought this digital camera 4 days ago and its for my Photography Business - I took my daughter to the beach today and we were near the water but not in it - and then a WAVE came up and knocked her down - I went to grab for her and my camera flung out of my purse and into about an inch of water - the battery cage popped open and the bateries were flung out as well
I tried to dry it off and see if it would work but it wont
It only got a tiny bit wet - and my fiance said that when he gets home he will take it apart and dry it out - Will that help any ??
Also my memory card is not acting right - I tried to test it out by uploading the pics I had on there and they all show up but only one of them will upload fully - is the card damaged as well - or do I need to let it dry out more - it only had a tiny drop on it
Also once batteries get wet are the damaged too - should I try some new batteries ?
What can I do ?? Please help me - I'm in TEARS - so upset !!

Really simple question... I want to buy a digital camera on eBay, but its internal memory and external memory are different makes. If I want to add extra memory, like an SD card or something, am I following the specifications for the internal memory (which is 32MB flash type 1) or its external memory (MMC or SD)?

I have a HP Photosmart M527 and I have not used it very many times since I've had it, but I had some rechargeable batteries and I charged them the other night because I had an event to go to. Anyway, I put the batteries in after I charged them and it worked. So the next morning I was showing someone how to use my camera and it said that the batteries were depleted. I couldn't believe it. They were dead already. I had to go buy some more batteries and I was able to take about 10 pictures and then those died. I'm not really understanding why my batteries are dying so fast. Is this camera hard on batteries or what? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I don't know what to do about it. The camera itself is great, but maybe there's a trick to keeping the batteries going. Can anyone help me?

I'm looking to buy a Canon Rebel XTi, and don't want to buy it from the morons at Best Buy or Wal Mart. I'm looking for a REAL camera shop, that sells cameras and accessories like lenses, filters, tripods, etc. Does anyone know of a reputable one in the Phoenix or Glendale area?

I want to buy a new digital camera . My parents have one similar to the Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 and I want something that size and similar to that but a newer version if possible. I have looked at the H5 and H2 but I dont think they have all the things I want on them.
I am looking for a camera with good Macro, minimum of 7.2 megapixels, good zoom (Min 12X Optical Zoom), lots of different settings/ shooting modes - manual, twilight, landscape..... and high speed shutter. Also built in flash but i think most of them have that. Also a 2-3 inch LCD monitor. Maybe manual and auto focus if these cameras do manual focus, and one that can also record video. I wouls also like it to be a maximum of 400 pounds.
Can anyone reccomend a good camera that has all or most of these? Please give the actual model number (ex. DSC H5...) and a link to a review or details of the camera

I have the D50 with 18-55 kit lens. I want a 200 or 300mm telephoto for wildlife and a macro for abstract close-up work. Can one lens do all this? Would i be better getting a macro lens and a telephoto? What am i compromising if i but one lens that does it all?

can't decide which camera would be best for my needs. i have read numerous reviews. need good low light indoor light and outside. am looking at canon powershot S3 IS, panasonic lumix dmc fz7/fz8, or sony dsc h5. any and all help very much appreciated

I currently have a Nikon D50 with two lenses:

1) A 28-80mm for standard shots
2) A 70-300mm for zoom photography

At the moment I'm also using the 70-300mm to lamely recreate macro but, obviously, it's very limiting. Therefore, I'm on the lookout for a new macro lens that will be fully compatible with my D50.

At present I'm just looking for what options are available and not worrying too much about price. However, considering that I'm using a D50 you can generally assume I'm in the "amateur" professional league, so won't be want to pay a small fortune for the best macro lens on the planet!

I wouldn't need any special lenses or anything. The shots are mostly going to be outdoor and sunny with ample natural light, but I also need something that handles fluorescent lighting well, which my last camera did not. It's going to be used for a lot of action shots, but I shoot very close-up a lot of the time, and want a camera that can capture a lot of facial detail and nuance.
