No, Walmart don't do any repair at all. Not even you buy the extended warranty from them. All new product warranty is so call Factory Direct Warranty, which means the manufacturer is responsible for the warranty, and you will have to deal directly with the manufacturer not the retailer. The only time that a retailer is responsible for the warranty is the extended warranty that you purchase from them. However, the extended warranty start the moment you pay for the good which run side by side of the factory warranty. So in short answer: Just buy another one and forget about the old one.

Forget it. Walmart's philosophy is once you've walked out of the store, it's yours. They don't want to see you again unless you're there to spend more money.
