I want to buy a new digital camera . My parents have one similar to the Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 and I want something that size and similar to that but a newer version if possible. I have looked at the H5 and H2 but I dont think they have all the things I want on them.
I am looking for a camera with good Macro, minimum of 7.2 megapixels, good zoom (Min 12X Optical Zoom), lots of different settings/ shooting modes - manual, twilight, landscape..... and high speed shutter. Also built in flash but i think most of them have that. Also a 2-3 inch LCD monitor. Maybe manual and auto focus if these cameras do manual focus, and one that can also record video. I wouls also like it to be a maximum of 400 pounds.
Can anyone reccomend a good camera that has all or most of these? Please give the actual model number (ex. DSC H5...) and a link to a review or details of the camera

Or any other digital camera similar to what I am looking for but I have a smaller sony camera and all the memory sticks and stuff for it so it would probably be easier to get the Sony.

Since you already checked out my camera and others I can't help. I do love my H-2. Have you checked out Canon PowerShot S2 IS, or S3 IS? Just a thought.

A good Doctor has following points.. *His social or communication skills with the patients which constitutes both verbal and non-verbal (body language) communication...As our profession is a Community Service. *He should be a role model (a doctor who tells his/her patients to quit smoking should not be seen smoking outside the hospital 5 minutes after the patient leaves.. where's the intergrity in this right?) *He should be able to communicate in a way the patient understands (not going off on the properties of amino acids... etc. etc) as this may come out as arrogance *He, IDEALLY should follow up on his patients ... give them phone calls to see how they're doing *The doctor should be WILLING TO TEACH!!... this goes along very well with preventive health care. The doctor should give the patients the fishing rods, rather than the fish. If a doctor knows how to teach his/her patient what to do and what not to do, the doctor will be able to help the patient change his lifestyle for the better so that the patient doesn't have to keep coming back. *>And last but not the least he must be INTELLIGENT, UPDATED, And Most Of all ETHICAL. I have a DSC - W50 which is only a 6 mega pixel camera, but has all the features you are talking of - and more! I can film MPEGS in surprising clarity as well and have a spare 1 Gig card in it, so can enjoy myself for days before having to download.

Only problem - It is so small that I have had to attach it to it's case by the strap so that I do not loose it!

Good luck with the search.

i have a DSCS500, it;s only 6 pixels.

the reason i'm answering your question is because it has been a nightmare trying to contact sony through their website, or by phone when i need help.

by the camera you want, but if you buy a sony, expect them to SUCK when it comes to service and customer support.
