When I first got it the photos were clear with great quility. Now I have photos coming out grainy. I have had the camera for just over a year and am still learning how to use it. I also have the SB800 flash unit. What do I need to do to fix it?
Thanks for any help!

I have two Nikon lenses (18-55mm & 55-200mm) and a SB-600 speedlight. I have attempted registering the products with their serial numbers, but the numbers seem to be invalid. Where are the serial numbers located?

My 4 month old D80 stopped auto focusing today after a friend "played" with it. I think he forced the focus dial pass the logical stop while the camera was trying to auto focus. Now in auto focus mode the camera goes through he motions of focusing but never beeps (to register that it's focused). Needless to say the pisture is not in focus. I can still manual focus. Is there any way to fix this myself? New lens? or can it be repaired?

I recently purchased my first DSLR (a Nikon D50) and I want to buy a book that will teach me alot about DSLRs. I seldom know much of the lingo that the experienced photographers talk about - it's practically foreign to me!

New REmington Infrared security system hooked up in home to test, worked fine for a few minutes then went blank. Still has sound. Hooked up another camera so monitor is fine. What could cause this? The camera was around no heat sources or covered in anyway.
Was going to use it to watch my property. NOT TO SPY ON SOMEONE!!

I know that Sony and Fuji Digital Cameras record the photos at 72dpi being at Hi Resolution settings, while Digital Cameras like Canon and Nikon record the photos at 96dpi to 300dpi being at Med to Hi Resolution settings. I have a Fuji Finepix S5100
4 Megapixels and I set the adjustments at the highest photo quality and the result is a photo at 72dpi. Why is that?

This technology has really never taken off, I feel like the the people who bought into Beta-Max instead of VHS.
Everytime I have pictures on my Fujifilm camera I can never find anyone with a compatible reader device to export them to.

I have a Canon Powershot A90 (I think that's the number). It takes great, crisp images but when shooting indoors it uses the flash and then the subject becomes totally blown out while the background is thrown into darkness. Back with film cameras you could buy higher speed film that would bring out brighter images even without a flash.

Is there a good digital camera that can take indoor photos using just available light? Or one that doesn't make such harsh contrasts when using the flash?

Since I own a Sony I keep my photos on computer via their software cybershot. Reason being when rt clicking it under properties it shows time and date photo taken, shutter speed, aperture, what ISO, image size, etc...but when it comes to focal length I'm confused. I took a distant shot and focal lengh shows 11.7 mm I figure in terms of 35mm it should show more like 300mm. Is there any comparison chart to go by?
