Im just getting started up in photography and I need a few digi-cam suggesstions. After a little diggin, I narrowed down to coolpix L6. Give me your ideas. As an +, the camera could also have a help feature. And oh, i made a budget of 200$ (rs. 8500) for the cam and 50$ (rs. 2000) for the memory card/others. Thanks

Hi, where can I find a cheap 5.0 megapixel DSLR camera?
I need it for class and I know nothing about cameras.

Also, is the Canon Powershot G5 a DSLR camera, because I have one somewhere in my house.

I currently have a 5 mega pixel camera with a 256MB Memory Card in it. It only holds 80 pics, can anyone give me any suggestions as to a better memory card that will hold more pics for my camera. I am going on vacation and would hate to go out and buy multiple memory cards for it. Any suggestions?

I have a Canon A710 is. I have recently purchased this after returning a COOLPIX S6.
Im about to shoot myself in the foot because i am such a TERRIBLE photographer. What bothers me most is, i try very hard.
Mainly, i need to take pictures of Watches from close-ups to post on eBay, but they come out horribly when compared to some other pictures i see. I even purchased the white dome that difuses shadows and glares, but i can see the background wrinkles so obviously. How do these photographers take pictures with the background being so perfect? Photoshop?
Also, whats the trick to getting REAL close ups with these lower end digital cameras? I use MS, but still not good enough. Should i set the Megapixels at the highest, and superfine, and then zoom in? Would that help?

Thank you very much in advance,

aram

I am trying to decide on which digital to buy. Which one is better brand or is better item? I looked on amazon.com for a Casio EX-Z60 silver and black (is the color the only difference?) 6MP
(http://www.amazon.com/Casio-Exilim-EX-Z60-Digital-Optical/dp/B000EIZJ7M/ref=pd_ys_qtk_rvi_img/105-1954375-7491603) and Cannon PowerShot SD-600 6MP (http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B000EMWBT2/ref=pd_ys_qtk_rvi_img/105-1954375-7491603).
Which one is better and more reliable? Please I am open to suggestions. Would you recommend any other brand and model? I am looking for something compact, small in size and that can be taken any where.

I would like to know if anybody owns a digital flip camera? Or brands that sell them? I have great difficulty finding one. I need one that flips the screen out on the top of the camera not on the side. Thank you.

I posted a question yesterday asking what I need to look for in a camera for taking pics at concerts. After finding out what I need I've found a few cameras and would like to know everyone's opinion.

Casio EX2700

Olympus stylus 740 (though I can't find the ISO posted anywhere)

Panasonic 7.2 Megapixel Lumix

These are the ones I've just found browsing store ads and such, But I'm open to other suggestions. I'm looking for one that will be good for taking pics at a concert where the light is low, the one I have now makes the pics turn out really dark and sometimes blurry.

I am a novice when it comes to using a PC. The Vivitar 6150s camera I just bought has a User's Manual, but the info provided assumes the purchaser has a detailed knowledge of using a PC. I need step-by-step instructions, once the USB cable connects the camera to the PC. Additionally, after any detailed instructions are provided, I need to be told what to do when I want to add additional photos to the original photos already transferred. I'm soory to appear so ignorant, but I am 77 years old, and am relatively new to using my recently purchased PC. Thank you.

OK, I am totally new to this, right now I have a Vivitar 3710, which is totally crap, it takes horrible pics. OK, what I need is someone to help me. I will spend the money for a good camera that will last a lifetime, lol. I want a professional camera, with one of those huge lens things, ( that might be an attachment, bought separately).

Here are some of the camera that are recommened by the school:
Canon 30D, Canon 20D, Canon 10D, Canon Rebel XTi,
Nikon D200, Nikon D80, Nikon D70, Nikon D50,
Pentax K100D

Ok but IDK which one is the best?

Do you have any other suggestions, besides theses?

The school said I need something like MV, and shutter and other advance stuff.

My yahoo sn is Desaraiye, Im me if you can help. I am on now!

Help!
