If you're going to buy from the web, be vary wary of who you buy from. Just because a place advertises the cheapest price, doesn't mean that you should buy from them.
Check out sites like resellerratings.com (I'm not sure if there's something similar for just consumer electronics places) to get feedback on the website before you buy from them.
Customer service and a good return policy are worth paying a little extra for.
Personally, I buy all my gear from bhphotovideo.com, adorama, com, and 17photo.com.

Walmart is the WORST place to buy a digtial camera. Best Buy is decent but they sell at list price.
I buy my stuff at beachcamera.com they are relatively cheap. I havent had a problem with them yet out of my 5 or 6 orders I have had out of them.

I would say on the internet, you might want to try shop.com, buy.com, or shopzilla.com...or any site that compares prices for you...it's really easy to find cheap cameras that way and you can get it from a store you might not know about but is still very good.

be certain to learn seller rankings in the previous you purchase from an on line broking. Many are rip-off clothing, based in Brooklyn, manhattan who function decrease than numerous diverse aliases. B&H photograph, Adorama, Calumet are all respected on line sellers, no fears coping with them. terrific purchase has diverse cameras in save so which you need to attend to them and spot which of them experience suitable. Many community retailers carry the kodak line, should not be too difficult to locate one! solid success!
