im looking at the canon s2 or s3, an i really am wondering about if its worth getting over a $100 "pocket" camera. i like the canon, but is it really worht it? i really just would to take family pictures and video. any suggestions?

I bought my first digital camera over a year ago. I didnt know anything about them so I just picked one because it had a rechargeable battery and that appealed to me. ....I hate that camera with a passion. It either takes really dark pictures or the flash is so blinding that unless you're a mile way from the thing you want to take a picture of, all you get is a washed out -white picture. I dont want to make this mistake twice.

What are some things I need to look for in order to get a good, high quality digital camera?

the problem is that when i loaded it with a ISO 100 reel and set the shutter speed to 1/1000 the light meter indicates that the image is overexposed , even when i point it towards a dark region. all the other speeds work well,the problem only is with the 1`/1000 speed it always indicate ovrexposure even at f/22

I was wondering about the program Aperture. My question is if I do buy it to organize my RAW files, will it replace my photoshop or will I have to use photoshop for more fine tuning details?

i just bought a digital a few months ago and i hate it .(polariod a700) pics are horrable shutter time is slow and it does even worse in low light but the flash is so bright it turns everyones face a bright blur anyone have a suggestion on a camera that does not have these problems

I need to get some pictures from my Casio Exilim to the computer. I took the memory card out, inserted it into the (MMC/SD) slot and nothing comes up. It always works. Now it just...doesn't haha.
