I have a Mamiya Sekor 1000 DTL camera and the mirror is stuck in the up position. How much would it cost to fix this? Would I be better off getting a new camera or fixing this one?

Hello everyone

I have an enhanced definition television set and have recently discovered that for some reason, setting my Playstation 3 onto the 720p setting actually works with the TV.

Could anyone who is tech saavy or has knowledge on televisions let me know why this is so?

There is clearly an increase in image quality when using 720p (over 480p, which is what I was using). So the television is clearly doing something, but the problem is, the TV isn't supposed to be capable of outputing 720p.

This Samsung TV is not a very high quality set, and using 720p, makes any white text on the screen seem very... dotty.

My question is, does it harm the television or the Playstation 3 by setting it to that output. The reason for this concern, as mentioned above, is that the TV isn't 720p compatible.

The second question is, why is it displaying 720p? Is it some kind of pseudo 720p?

What is the deal with this non-sense about 40GB system not being able to play PS2 games, and 80GB version can only play certain ones. But 20GB and 60GB version can play PS2 games?

Did Sony do this on purpose? Are they doing anything to correct this?

Even though I don't plan on playing much PS2 games on PS3 (I probably won't. I'm planning on playing mostly 1080p games), it does aggravate me when I found this out.

I have a Verizon Wireless Fire Red KRZR and now I can't see anything on the screen. It is almost like the light has blown out or something. It has happened before and I would just plug it into the charger and it would work, but I tried that and it didn't work. It has never been dropped like from a high place or onto a hard floor and it has never gotten wet. Does anyone have any suggestions or have the phone and it happened to them?

I know that FireDog uses them when they install wires behind the walls. It looks like a half funnel that attaches to the wall like a light switch cover and guides the wires down to the floor behind the wall. I asked at circuit city and they dont know where to get them. Does anyone know?

I have Comcast and I'm ordering the HD box, but I was wondering why it looks better with HDMI. Since coaxial is the original source coming into the house, how does HDMI improve on that original source?
My guess is the HD box does some uncompression and decoding of signals and then sends it to the HDMI cable.
