What's the cheapest digital camera (currently on the market) with full manual controls including manual focus?

We just bought a samsung LCD HDTV 46'. All the bells and whistles included.

We are getting the HD receiver and HD service in a couple days but until now we are viewing channels in a regular signal.

However, the image appears to be eve a little worse than on our old tube TV--technology of about a decade ago.

Does this make any sense?

ALSO!!! how far away do you think I should be from the TV to get the best quality in view possible.

I can look at my pictures and everything but when i try to use the screen it says ACCESS and the lens goes all crazy. Ive tried holding the power button down for 30 seconds with the battery taken out and ive also tried emptying my memory card...one of it works. it used to work every now and then. it would do this for about 20 min and then it would be fine but suddenly its been a week and its not working. ive hit it onmy palm a couple times and that used to work but none of that works anymore! What can i do?

I want to buy the 80gb Hong Kong (NTSC-J) ps3 and use it in Australia, however it won't play PAL content (In particular my old ps2 games). Is there a system update for the ps3 up until this point that allows this NTSC-J console to play PAL content?
AND/OR
Does this update allow for DVD's of region 4 (Australia) to play on this region 3 ps3? and also Blu-rays of region B (Australia) to play on this region A ps3?
If not, does anyone know if/when an update such as this would be released?

I have a Samsung 32" 720p HDTV its the LN-S3251D. I have my HD cable box connected by HDMI and my picture does not look amazing when watching football on the HD channel. The cable box is set to 720p. Can some other Samsung owner tell me there set up here is mine.

Contrast = 55

Brightness = 60

Sharpness = 0

Color = 45

Color Tone = Warm 2

Digital NR= Off

Game Mode = Off

my last two dvd players used fiber optic cable that connected to my surround sound system,which by the way is not the newest system but still work fine.

well i need a new dvd player and i have trouble finding a new one that has fiber optic cables. so i was wondering do they even do that anymore?

ok i have my ps3 running online via ethernet cable 2 rooms away to my computer room where my cable box is, to get my modem to read my ps3 connection i have to pull the power plug and plug it bask in to get a connection.......what can i do to make both computer and ps3 able to be online at once and make it easier to just turn on my ps3 and be able to log in without the powering down my modem.......wireless router? thanks for the help

i have a sony home theather 2 yrs ago and am also planing to buy a simple 5.1ch home theater to put it in the other room.

please advice w/c specs is better (i'll just hide the brands between sony and philips to know w/c is good)

*home theater 1:
satellite speakers and subwoofer rated impedance -2.7 ohms
(freq. range not specified in manual)

*home theater 2:
satellite speakers - 4 ohms ; 150-20000hz
center speakers - 8 ohms ; 150-20000hz
subwoofer - 8 ohms ; 45-150hz

please choose w/c home theater specs is better sound output.
which is better higher or lower ohms (rated impedance)

I know this has been asked a lot, but my situation is kinda different. Anyway, I have a ps2 now, but i use a fliptop and most of my games a burnt. So, i think the 40gb PS3 should be fine. Are the missing flash drive and 2 USB ports a big deal?

I can get a 60gb at a circuit city about an hour from my house. But, I think it might possibly be worth saving $100 by getting the 40.

What do you think? Thanks ahead of time.
