is it normal that my ps3 heats a little bit strong on te right side?

It's totally normal. PS3 has an automatic overheat protection system - if your PS3 will really overheat - it'll turn itself off automatically.

Yes it is normal just don't have it confined or backed up close to walls on any sides including the top. And don't put it on a carpet. If you can get a marble tile sample from a tiles store and put it on that.

Congrats and have fun. It'll take you weeks to find all the little things you can do with just system alone. Look forward to HAZE in Jan 08 and but have fun with drakes fortune while you wait.

Also download some game demos like ratchet and clank, etc.. Downloads are a great way to see what you like.

Sony spokeswoman Nanako Kato stated that any irregularities experienced by TGS attendees stemmed from poor ventilation and concentrated heat of 200 PS3 units being so close together. "Overheating under such circumstance is a common affliction at trade shows, afflicting not just Sony products, but those of its competitors." She stated this wouldn't be the case in consumer's homes. Obviously she doesn't know how hot it gets in Florida.
