Are there any PS3 games out there that will play 1080p, that is high definition?

Ridge Racer 7 and Virtua Tennis 3 do.

If you look on the back of the PS3's game cases, it will show all of the supported video outputs for a specific game. The only game that I own right now that supports full 1080p is Lair, but there are probably a little bit more games that support 1080p. I've currently noticed that most PS3 games support 720p.

check the http://us.playstation.com site it'll have all the games and game specs. NBA 08 produced first party for ps3 is and there are alot more
