Are they worth the bother, i.e. do they work?

No. I personally have tried them on different phones and Networks, since where we live it's weak and patchy on 02 Voda and Orange, the rest have no service at all, nothing seems to improve the signal.

I actually have stumbled on the toddlers that bypass interior or on the back of the telephone to be surprisingly lots ineffective. however the "finished homestead" boosters do paintings truly nicely. they have a lots larger antenna than your telephone so as that they might pull in vulnerable alerts it could no longer. we've one in our workplace. devoid of it we've been given NO sign. With it, 4 bars. the difficulty is that they are no longer low-priced. $3 hundred for the single we used.

They work great -- at enhancing the bottom line of the companies that make them. As to enhancing phone performance? Total and utter waste of money.
