Software - March 2007

I'm getting ready to start an Internet cafe'. I have the hardware knowledge to build a nice LAN setup (maybe WAN if I can get my other location going). However, what I lack is the software knowledge.

What I am looking for is a good software to monitor all the systems from a centralized point and monitor user usage.

Also, it would be helpful if there are any central game licensing companies instead of me purchasing the licenses through each individual manufacturer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had this for a while but keep getting distracted by swapping programmes with ones that are "meant to be better"

Media Players-I currently use i-Tunes for mp3 and Windows Media Player, should I use Real Player?

I get this masage while trying to open the auto cad software.
(is already installed and goive me this problem only in the standard user account, if i log to the admin account the software work just fine. )

I've tried downloading yahoo messenger, some games from bigfish and even some programs from work that previously worked on my computer. Now it starts the downloads but when it gets to the .dll files or .exe files a pop up comes up and says it can't be downloaded, contact my system administrator, which is me! I don't have any other users set up on my computer. Can someone tell me where to go or what to do to fix this?

How does the 'go back' feature on Windows XP work? I've used it before when my computer caught a nasty virus when even 'removing' the virus didn't seem to help. If documents are deleted (and recycle bin emptied, and drivespace meter adjusts to show it) then how exactly are old programs and files recovered intact when they're supposed to be gone forever and they're not taking up drivespace?
