I have no Idea how to get the songs or media off of it..so if you could explain it to me that would be awesome

1)Insert the rewritable disk
2)now go to my computer
3)right click the CD-RW icon
4)click erase rewritable-disc

OR
if ur using nero u can find the option of erase rewritable-disc there

If it's a cd recordable cd and if you enabled multi session you can add to it, but you cannot erase it. If you have a CD-RW cd than you can erase it. It also depends on which software your using, is it nero. Mind you that your cd recorder must support re-writing as well, you will know this if you have something like this printed on from of your cd recorder

Put your CD in your CD drive. Right Click on the Start Button. Click Explore. Scroll down the Left Pane until you find your CD Drive which is usually D drive. Right Click on it and click on erase.

If you are using nero. There is a very simple option.. just click on erase disk and it will clean it up for your in just 2 min.

You do not erase a cd-r you just record over it and the old stuff goes away and your new stuff is there.

1. load cd or dvd rw
2. when play option comes up select "take no action"
3. click start
4. click my computer
5. select your disk drive right click hit open
6. on your left find and "click erase this cd"

Well, you can erase a cd/rw disk but it takes a loong time.

i dont think i can go step by step becuase it depends on your software. i use nero, just open the software and and find the Erase Disc button.
