My company has become progressively unhappy with our operating system. My main concern here is the ability to convert on a mass level. Please include with your suggestion reasons why you recommend what you recommend. Thanks.

I am aware of gotomypc.com but I would prefer a system that did not use the internet. I would rather have a direct connection over phone lines. Both of these computers are older, so the software would have to work with Win98. I mainly just want to be able to run QuickBooks from home so my wife/bookkeeper does not have to come to the office as often.

What causes No Drivers to be detected in Musicmatch burner plus...Even on the CD burner program that comes with the computer...Has no drive detected...therefore it won't burn...Is it viruses? How do I fix this?

Ok my laptop broke and am having to get a new harddrive which invloves reinstalling everything including itunes! BAH HUMBUG! Anyways i got a lotta music and was wondering if there was a way of getting itunes to search for it and add it automatically.

I know this can be done on media player so am thinking itunes might do the same.

Anyone know?! If you do you'll save me hours of clicking add folder add file.

I have to get MS word for work. 2007 standard edition is $399 and 2007 home&student edition is $149. Aside from the price, what is the difference? All I need is MS word. Is it possible to purchase that and not the entire office suite?

I just downloaded limewire and the program will only open if I have just booted up windows. If I close the program and try to reopen it nothing happens. I have to restart my computer and then click the icon again for it to work. Why is this happening? And also is there any way to have my library on limewire ONLY display the things i have downloaded from limewire and not like every file on my computer with a strange name?

well, i have found a pretty lot of software for transparency.But it makes the whole page translucent.But i want a software that makes only the title bar translucent in win XP.I have also had vista transformation pack installed in my computer.But i do not find gass2k as good as i liked to be.So please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here is the situation. When I Iog into my computer it reboots automaticly after everything is loaded. I downloaded Mckafee Antivirus this weekend and It seems to be doing it because of this. I already have Nortons on there but felt it would be better if I had extra security. I can not remove this because it re-boots everytime and does not give me a chance to click on any icons. Please help me and tell me what my problem.

i have a macro that deletes data. im sure it does some other stuff... but when i run the macro now, it delets data it is not instructed to.

usually the quick fix would be to restart my mac and re-run the macro. now that is not working. i would rewrite the macro, except i'm not sure what else it does.

i wish i could give more info, but i just started this job and the old guy has left the company with no other instructions. HELP!

I downloaded an upgrade from Microsoft for internet explorer 7 and my computer hasn't worked right since. I have deleted what I downloaded but it still isn't working right. Now when I try to download IE 7 from yahoo it just sits there and does nothing else except freezes up my computer.
