I haven't had any problems with burning or copying DVDs per se. There are some video codec issues with Divx and Xvid at the moment, but I'm hoping they'll get worked out soon. The Windows DVD Maker is nice in that is makes beautiful menus, but isn't as fast or configurable as I'd like.

As is usual for every new version of Windows, the first version is full of bugs and annoyances. Besides that, it always requires more memory and faster processors. I don't go near new versions for at least two years until the worst problems are fixed and the extra hardware is cheaper!
