Ok my laptop broke and am having to get a new harddrive which invloves reinstalling everything including itunes! BAH HUMBUG! Anyways i got a lotta music and was wondering if there was a way of getting itunes to search for it and add it automatically.

I know this can be done on media player so am thinking itunes might do the same.

Anyone know?! If you do you'll save me hours of clicking add folder add file.

Thanks

Yes it can. Just make sure in the preferences you select "copy music to itunes folder" It will copy everything to one place. When you select add folder to library, just select the top most folder and it will search any subfolders.

I think so if you add the highest common parent folder, the one folde in which all other folders and files are located and then all the songs will be added that are in that path. Or there may be a search feature i have certainly not seen it.

I never endorse a company without just cause, so take my endorsement seriously, try out Winamp. I believe it to be many times superior to iTunes or any other media player i have used. It costs zero for standard, and the pro version has few features more.
