What is the best free anti-virus software?

I like avg but it des not work on 64 bit machines.

Avast It's free and pretty much the same as norton and you don't have to update it or anything it automaticly does it and one of the best

I tend to lean toward AVG, never got a virus or trojan that it could not find. Also has automatic updates.
