What makes you think it wouldn't be? At worst the application will hang or crash or some things it's supposed to do may not work but that's what you'd expect from a Beta. If you're that concerned about evilware infcecting your machine then wait for it to come out of Beta.

Few weeks ago I was asking about the same question with friends. I gave a try to beta and after doing some e-mail with the Lavasoft finally I start loving it and when I knew it is going to expire I was sad. Later I found I can un-install after expiry then download new version and that will work.

This is a very good software, I have Norton Internet security which do not deduct spy ware/ad ware but this Ad ware 2007 Beta deduct them and do a lot of work on my choice. Interface is cute easy to use. What else we computer user need for free?

Just remember it is a Beta version the company will not be responsible if something goes wrong.

I am still using Adware 2007 Beta, without it my PC is incomplete.

Thanks to Lavasoft for offering it free.

Does it satisfy you.

Adaware is a safe and a useful tool for removing spyware. However, do not use *only* this tool. A good combo used to be Adaware and Spybot S&D, but that was long ago.

The personal version of Adaware is free and linked below, but a much better solution for battling spyware is STOP USING IE (Internet Explorer).

(Even better would be not running MS Windows)
