XP user accounts?

Question

"you must be an administor to install this product, please contact your system administrator"
I get this masage while trying to open the auto cad software.
(is already installed and goive me this problem only in the standard user account, if i log to the admin account the software work just fine. )

thank you for the answers, but i want to keep that account none admin. and have him work on the cad like any other software

The standard user account does not have enough rights to do a alot of things. basically, the standard user is a low-permission user. If you want that user to have more rights, make them a member of the POWER USERS group. (Right click My Computer, Manage, Users and Groups, Groups, Power Users, ADD, type in the account(s), click OK.

it's obvious, you are in the standar account, you need to be in the admin account type. Log into the Admin account.

Go to Control panel>User accounts>Select the other account, that is not an admin>Select change account type>Select Computer administrator.

Log out, and then into the other account, you are a sys admin, and will run everything fine;)

If its your computer or you have Administrator pass word you can set both accounts as administrator accounts and have access to every thing installed on computer. why would you want to use a none adm. acct. if you have administrator privileges?
