He likes to know how to do this, when he can't even get into his Windows. There seems to be a problem for him to get back into his windows. He even will be happy to get back into windows an any other way. Please help with this, and I thank you for your time.

For some reason my last question didn't post. I reformatted the C: drive on a Windows ME computer using a boot disk I created from bootdisk.com, and I keep searching for what to do next. Everything says to "follow the instructions". WHAT INSTRUCTIONS?! Can someone please give me some instructions on how to do this?

this windows sucks, i race a nascar game online and now my car warps all over ? I have high speed cable, the game is nascar3 from 1999 so its not a very demanding game so what gives?

Okay, today ive asked a lot about linux and i still havent figured out all of the features
if you know all of the features please feal free to let me know
just tell me all the features of linux because i like need to know cause i be gittin linux on my computa when i be getin it and also
is it good to have two operating systems on one computer or does it take up like a million megs of space sarcasticly speaking?

I looked up on MS' website to look into it and as far as it shows me, I need to buy Office just to get word. I don't know if it was a old version of it but I could have sworn I saw copies of just Word for mac on the shelves of a computer store I was at about a week and a half ago. I look up on their site and it was the same thing all over again, a whole bunch of listings for Office for mac but none for just a copy of Word. If I only have the choice of spending more on a copy of Office than I spent buying the OS my computer runs on, then does anyone happen to know of any good word processor programs for Mac that are reasonably understood?

i have 2 questions about Limewire.

1. How do you open a file you downloaded? or do you just open it from the downloaded list? (I heard about shared folder...?)
2. When I searched for a program it came up with .zips and .exes. which should i download?

I recently bought 2 CD-RW, after copy the files there, I am unable to erase them. When I go to my computer, it only gave me the option "Write these files to CD", which there is actually nothing to write as I didn't copy anything. On other CD-RW that I have, I am able to have the option "Erase this CD-RW" first before I use the option to write the files to the CD, why is these 2 CDs behave differently, it is clearly written as a CD-RW and not a CDR. Any help is appreciated !!

OK, I am in Answers and I see a narrow screen. Answers has about an inch+ of unused space on each side. Other web-sites fill the screen. Can we change the view?
Also has anyone used "Wine" or "CodeWeavers" to run Windows Programs, what you think of them?

When I try to play a video on Windows Media Player it doesnt work. I've played videos there previously.
This is what I've figured out:
I've encountered error message C00D1199 while using Windows Media Player.
The file type is supported by the Player, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the Player.

I was told to download a codec. What does that do and how do I use it? What do i do with it?
