hey i want to use my xp home edition as a dvr, like the media center on the vista home premimum or ultimate, is there any way for me to do that?

All other documents print just fine but .pdf come out blank sheets of paper.

in C programming we can use both %d and %i for interger variable.
that is, both these give same output:
printf(" %d", x);
printf(" %i" , x);

whats the difference between %d and %i ??

I want to use regedit (to change a code of windows to be able to use the "folder options" in windows, which I think was disabled by a trojan). but it does not work and gives an error saying something like "You are'nt the administrator" (but I know I am).

what can I do to be able to use regedit and enter the code to use the folder options in windows?

I want to put the files onto my ipod, and i have found that the 3gp coverter is the best for this, however it doesn't recognise rmvb extentions, hence i need to convert into a format that it does recognise in order to convert into my ipod.

Alternatively, if you know of another free programme which will convert rmvb to ipod ready video files that would be great.

I've just spent hours at Microsoft's website to no avail. Just trying to navigate my way through their site suggested why most of their applications are crap. They've actually got the audacity to charge for their non-existant "help" now.

Anyhow, I need a program or patch for IE6 that will translate website languages since I'm only fluent in English.

I installed a game a few years back and I lost the CD cases where the CD-KEYs are. I also think I found the Keys by using REGEDIT, but I'm not really sure, and if they are the keys they seem to be coded and I can't understand, copy/paste them. Can someone please help? :)

It looks something like this...

And it goes on and on and to the Right of those numbers is the path where the game is saved like C/programfile/warcraft (something like that)

Ever since I installed Windows Media Player 11 or Logitech Quick Cam I've been having minor problems playing video. It's not that I can't play video, but if I move my mouse over the video, the picture hangs for a second. I have an Athlon XP 2400 with 1GM RAM. My video card is NVidia GeForce2 MX400. Any thoughts on this.

I've also noticed that my hard drive seems to be working at times when it shouldn't be, but spyware scans with AdAware and Spybot don't turn up anything.
