how do i turn a wav file into a mp3?

XP Windows Media Player 10 in will do it.
Just right click the wav file in Windows Explorer & choose "convert" .... that simple.

Search on google for a program called switch, it can convert many audio files to each other.

Go to download.com and search 4 converter, and take your pick, and they are all 100% free. enjoy
