I recently bought 2 CD-RW, after copy the files there, I am unable to erase them. When I go to my computer, it only gave me the option "Write these files to CD", which there is actually nothing to write as I didn't copy anything. On other CD-RW that I have, I am able to have the option "Erase this CD-RW" first before I use the option to write the files to the CD, why is these 2 CDs behave differently, it is clearly written as a CD-RW and not a CDR. Any help is appreciated !!

once you burn stuff onto a CD you can't erase the files on the CD.

Hi Firefly,

That is strange. If it is a CD-RW you should have the erase option.

I would clean the CD to see if maybe a smudge is causing a mis read.
