What are the default measurements for the top/bottom and right/left margins on microsoft word?

For all my papers they like to have 1' margins.

There are 2 approaches that i understand of... First, bypass to "report" in the device bars...Then goto "web page Setup" and also you'll see the margins tab...You regulate the margins left actual correct and bottom...it is for the completed record... second way (it is to set human being or seperate magins with in the record...) bypass to "View" in the device bars...make certain that "Ruler" is on or chosen...You sould see a ruler on the right of the note record web page...on the ruler...you need to make certain some assistance...2 on the left aspect with a small block lower than it...and between the right...placed the arrow (mouse pointer) on those and carry down the left mouse button...Now flow them left or actual to regulate the margins...Becareful..each and each and every strikes a diverse margin and or indentations.. desire this helps...solid success

If you have never changed the normal.dot (default template for a Word document), open a new blank document and at the top, left, click "normal" style.

If you want to change the template, open a new blank Word document, set your choice of margins, select a font and size, click Format, cl Font. At the lower left click "default." You will be asked if you want to change the normal.dot template. If you do, click yes.

It's either that, or change or accept the current default.
