He likes to know how to do this, when he can't even get into his Windows. There seems to be a problem for him to get back into his windows. He even will be happy to get back into windows an any other way. Please help with this, and I thank you for your time.

Does it say to scan F disc or to run fdisk? Because fdisk is a program that rewrites the boot record of the hard drive. If the boot sector is messed up then you can boot off of CD and run the command, but only under circumstances. It's also used to create partitions, but that doesn't seem applicable in this case. You'd need to give more detail to determine if it would help - exactly what happens, exactly what does the error message say etc.

Wow...Uhh, Have him scan the last external hard drive he put in, he may have had a virus on an MP3, Flash Drive, or other external hard drive

Try reformatting, and adding anti-virus, if that dont' work, replace the hard drive.
