Now, I just wipped the HD on an extra comp i have, a 1.3ghz celeron..no os on it at all and I want linux on it only...I'm getting the "NON-system disk" error, and tried to run the linux download from my other windows comp, it said file specified not foun, and I re-downloadit 6 time from different mirrors..WHAT THE FU**!!!I am having no luck and already starting to hate this..PLEASE HELP!!!!!

everytime i log in on my computer a message box comes up saying at the top svchost.exe- Application error thne it says lcikc ok to terminate click cancel to debug. if i press any of the buttons on this message my computer freezes and i have to hit the power so i just move it out of the way. Also, when i log off i get at least 4 boxes with "program not responding shutting down" and i never can log off becuase after the boxes it goes to a blue screen so i have to hit the power button HELP

I've heard about Windows Vista 32bit and 64bit... and also x86 and x64.. I don't actually understand them.. If you have x86 computer what is compatible? 32bit or 64bit? OR my question is wrong? it should be a 64bit or 32bit compatible with x86 computer? Please help me.. which one's compatible to which version? Please explain thoroughly... Thanks

im in an internet cafe and needed to go where you cannot go for me. Stupidly forgetting to sign off. When I came back (I saw a male sitting on my chair with the computer still signed into yahoo questions) though i did not see if he did anything to the computer in my absence, is there anyway i can find out help if anything was done to this compouter in my absence. I do not know why he was sitting on my chair.

When I start the computer up it goes up to a page and says that windows did not load all of its drivers up please choose a way to start up your computer. (it gives you options of, safe-mode, normal, and customized). Plus I don't have the disc to reload Microsoft or Windows

I found these files and when I open them it shows a command prompt box and then says C:\da.exe The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:0563:01dcd......(some code) Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. There are some other ones like this too. Should I delete them or keep them?
