If I played a song that I downloaded and I wanted to record it without getting any background sound (my computer humming etc.) so basically internal noises only..is there a program or a setting where i can do that?

Sure, you can use Audacity (free download from http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.php ) and other programs available from the above page.
You could also just burn it straight to CD (even from MP3).
Or did you want to record on an external device??
If so use the Line Out of your sound card and a cable (mini stereo jack to stereo RCA plugs) to link to your recording device.
Hope this helps, get in touch if you need more info.

ok, use the recorder modern-day on your upload-ons, which folder after that i'm no longer certain. The defualt on that recorder is 60 sec. right it is the way you get previous that. Make a 60 sec sparkling recording, no mic plugged in and placed it aside as shall we are saying blankfile. then make a sparkling black recording for 60 sec.s and call it time. Now open the blankfile and locate the tab that announces insert document, click that and choose the time document. Now the blankfile is now one hundred twenty sec, now click insert document and insert yet another reproduction of the time document, now the blankfile is 180esc, keep doing it till you get the lenght of the same old music you would favor to record. Now keep the hot say the 300sec(5 min) document. now whenever you want to record some thing open the blankfile and record regardless of, once you're achieved do a keep as: "new call" this keeps your sparkling template sparkling and saves the recording on your choosen document call. you are able to make the blankfiles see you later as you want by using placing the time 60sec sparkling document into it till you've the lengh you want. you would keep your blankfiles like blank120sec, blank180sec, blank300sec, (regardless of length you've made it. it truly is as loose as you'll get from what you've already got, that's low high quality because i trust that's in trouble-free words 8 bits. i imagine there is settings for higher i'm no longer certain, yet which could must be achieved befor you're making the sparkling templates.
