Go to Control Panel/ Add remove programs. Choose Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Media Format 11 runtime click Remove button.

Control Panel => Add remove programs => Windows Media Player 11
If you updated from Media player 10 you might have to select, show updates at the top of the screen.
After that you can just redownload/reinstall WMP 10.

You're probably going to have to uninstall MP11 and then download MP10, If you're on a windows XP , to do this you first go to start-Control panel- add or remove programs (icon of a box with a disk next to it)- Pick the media player 11 and click on "remove", then go to microsoft.com and in the search box type in "windows media player 10", and then download it from there. it should work, GL
