OmniPass is a password management software that is pre installed from the factory. It is located under start/programs/pc security and backup/softex. You can find out more about OmniPass by visiting www.softexinc.com and clicking on "Products". You can follow the instructions below to fix this error or you can simply uninstall OmniPass from control panel add/remove programs if you do not wish to use it.

Please follow the following steps to correct this problem.

Right click on the task bar and select task manager.
Click on the processes tab and highlight opxpapp.exe and end this process.
Click here to download the new zipped opxpapp.exe file
Unzip the file which has the new opxpapp.exe in it. Now right click on the file and select COPY.
Go to c:\program files\softex\omnipass, right click on the opxpapp.exe file and select rename, then rename to opxpapp.org. Now right click anywhere inside the folder and select PASTE (This action should copy the new file to this location).
Reboot your system.

Open regedit and investigate Softex Omnipass' particles initialized by the system(Use search/find feature). Change file names there if you don't want system to acces them anymore. This action will disable system to program bridging. Take them to their original values before uninstalling. Otherwise they may stay there.
