Software - January 2007

My Firefox browser often shows time out when I try to link to sites. I am using dial up system to work in the net. Before Firefox was faster than IE, so I switched to Firefox but this one also startted giving problems, how to solve this problem ? My dial up speed is not more than 48 bps.

When I go into Properties for the folder and clear the check box, right after I click OK if I go back in, the box is checked again, and won't let me rename the folder. What the hell is the problem?!

I have insalled the windows server 2003, and when it boots it says that :
input signal out of rage
change setting to 1280/1024

and after some time the monior signal will go out.
even I try with safe mood and in that also gives error ? there is no OS other than this.

and in safe mod it shows this error:

windows is running in safe mode
this special diagnostic mofe of woindows enables you to fix a problem which may be caused by your network or hardware settings make usre thers settings are correct in control panel and then try starting windows again

I have a 32 pages product catalog which I want in MS Publsiher for editing. I did get a software that converted exactly from PDF to MS Word. Does any one know of software that does conversion from PDF to Ms-Publisher.

im trying to downlode a file, got it downloded, so far so good. then it became a zip file, thats what this guy said, he said i needed to "Double click it, it's a .zip file, needs to be decompressed before opening!" Well good answer, but what and how do i decompresse it?

I down loded the gimp and some other program it said i needed to. But it only took the matter of a min or two. But it doesn't seem to be a program. i have two new folders on my desktop with zipper looking pic on the folders. I don't know if i did it right, or if i did how to open it. Does any one know. Because this is harder then it should be.

There is a tool in the program that copys from one pic and puts it onto another one. I think its called stamp tool but i could be wrong. But any way, i really like this tool, and i used it the most when i had the program. Its almost all i used. but now for many resons i don't have it any more, and i can't pay about 500-600 for a new one. So does any one know of a program that has this tool. For free and a lot cheeper?
