Nero have a trial period but you have to pay after it's expired. There are other cd/dvd burning software that are free. Here are some:

first download something called utorrent (google it) then go to www.mininova.org and search nero download nero 7 ultra edition and just wait for it to finish downloading then open it install it and you will have nero
