Someone told me about the Gimp and it sounded good and what i am looking for. But i don't know what i need to downlode. I have Windows on my computer, my computer is only 2 years old, so what ever software i need, can anyone help me? Tell me what i need to downlode to get the program?

Go to http://gimp.org and choose the download from the left menu. There are books about how to use it available, and if you are used to using photoshop, you can even set up the hotkeys so that they match the regular photoshop ones instead of learning the new ones for gimp...

I, too, couldn't understand head or tail of their weird website. So, I have switched over to Picasa 2, and it is marvellous and free!! You can Google search it to find its download site.
