I have adobe acrobat and want to edit text in a file. To delete some text actually. I followed the instructions in adobe acrobat...
select advanced tools, then some kind of text tool then highlight the text but then it would not delete. I get some messages relating to font dependency. I don't see how deleting text could create a new font dependency! Or how a lack of a font in my computer (that the person who created it might have had) would mean i couldn't delete text. Can you give any advice?

I think it's time to start monitoring my children on the internet. What is a good freeware package for doing this? I want to monitor the times they are on the internet as well as the sites they vist and when they are using Yahoo Messenger.

Each time I put in a dvd to play, it comes up with a message about needing a driver to be downloaded. I have contacted my computer supplier and followed a download link, but it still won't let me play it! Keeps sending the same message about media player and the dvd being incompatible.

I have been a loyal MMJB fan for too many years than I want to count, and still have version 7.5 on my desktop. It's a perfect program for music. Better than the older versions, without the problems of the newer ones. We recently got a laptop, and I don't want an outdated version of MMJB on it, so I've recently downloaded what was labeled MMJB 10 from MM's site, which turned out to be yahoo's music player, and I don't like it. It's not customizable at all visually, and it's a fullsized window. I know yahoo bought MMJB. Can someone help me find another version that IS NOT a yahoo player, and is newer than 7.5? What is good/bad about 8, 9 or 10? Any MMJB people out there have any problems with them? Any compatability issues with xp media? Where can I find an older version, without having to jump through hoops? If you have an opinion on a version, please tell me which version you have or had.

I have installed Internet Explorer 7.0 coz I want to know what it look like. But I havent installed it correctly. I didnt installed the certificate first. So after Ive installed it and restart my computer, its a windows XP Professional, After it says welcome it says' "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are Sorry for the inconvenience" and send report or dont send. What should I do. I didnt lost my files and I still can use my computer by using theWindos Task Manager.I used the "New Task" to open files. It also said that I must unistall the explorer but I cant see my Control Panel, where its the only way to unistall my explorer. Help!

I would be thankful if you inform me about the software MS Publisher.

If it is different from MS Word?

Can we type the text in it just like MS Word?

Can the text typed in MS Word can successfully be pasted in MS Publisher?

Does the 2003 version of MS Office contain the MS Publisher? Is it a part of MS Office or is it a separate software?

Any further information in respect of MS Publisher will be highly appreciated.
