I have adobe acrobat and want to edit text in a file. To delete some text actually. I followed the instructions in adobe acrobat...
select advanced tools, then some kind of text tool then highlight the text but then it would not delete. I get some messages relating to font dependency. I don't see how deleting text could create a new font dependency! Or how a lack of a font in my computer (that the person who created it might have had) would mean i couldn't delete text. Can you give any advice?

You might be trying to edit a document in Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can't edit documents because the program is just a reader, or "read only".

Try working with the document in MS Word.

You cannot retrieve deleted messages without a court order, unfortunately. They won't give you a court order unless they are investigating a crime and need the messages for that purpose. Even if you're on a family plan they won't -- hell, they won't even let you get your OWN deleted messages. I called my own cell phone company once to find out what number a text was to on MY OWN PHONE one time and they refused to give me the information. Don't torture yourself over deleted text messages you'll never see. Look at it this way -- does it really matter what the texts say or who they were to? The man is "single and looking" on an online dating site, and is messaging other women to meet them. Who cares what he's texting? In my opinion, what you've found is enough. So sorry. Good luck.

You have to have the professional edition to delete or edit a lot of items.

You need a special program for that.
