My mum upgraded to this much against my advice on her computer. I think IE7 is the biggest load of crap I have ever seen. The toolbar has changed completely so now I can no longer see things like "File", "View" and "Edit" without having to spend the best part of half an hour looking for them!

Also on a forum that I've been a member of for over a year it wouldn't let me put in links to other websites, nor would it let me upload pictures! Apparently it was something to do with this forum not being registered on the computer as an ok website. I've now told the computer it's ok to look up that website. Trust me when my computer is on the internet it is NOT getting IE7!

i've got have been given have been given used the two...FireFox extremely until IE7 have been given maximum surprising right here alongside w/tabbed surfing. i'm now extremely satisfied w/IE7 yet would desire to pass decrease back to FF if i mandatory to. undergo in strategies that some webpages do no longer adhere to html standards...that's what FF is waiting for. So, no longer all webpages act 'maximum marvelous' w/FF. In those circumstances, I in basic terms pulled up IE. So, i'm super w/IE7 yet am a super fan of FF and the opensource community. sturdy fulfillment!

Yup - get Firefox 2.0.0.1 It is sooooo goooooood - and there are tons of add-ons to play with, but I'd keep IE7 as a backup that isn't included in your start up when booting up 'cos you can always sneak onto other sites simultaneously:))

Eg I like to run music using a separate browser while surfing using Firefox. But that's just 'cos I'm mad - lol

Personal opinion. I don't care what anyone else thinks.
I don't like IE7 myself, and I only use IE6 every now and again.
I also really don't like Firefox 2.0 (for the same reason I don't like IE7). Theres gonna be real hatred in April when they stop supporting 1.5.x.x :@

Why should it be such a huge decision since you can have as many browsers as you want on the same computer.
It takes 3 minutes to get Firefox

and another 3 to get opera http://www.opera.com/

It's a free world so if you prefer Firefox then go for it - just don't 'hate' things that don't really matter.
