if the space shuttle had a built in cd rom drive and a hard drive and screen monitor would the pilot be able to do the majority of what needs to be done using less equipment on board? or would it be more convenient for nasa to downsize by just using a cd rom programmed to run the shuttle with the addition of a hard drive and monitor too?

I need a restore program preferably ms dos based, 2weeks ago i set my nvidia pc card to run a monitor, and tv simultaneously, needless to say it froze up, i turned it off then turned back on it with just the monitor hooked up.It booted up to the win xp logo, then the screen went black, I could hear the hardrive running, I assumed i fudged up the settings on the graphics card, and i could not get into windows to fix settings because the screen was black.I never could fix it , I had to reinstall xp, good thing I didn't have nething important on it...

when I click my name on the welcome screem (in win XP), under my name it says "loading personal settings..." and it freezes like that. Whole computer get stuck and can't do anything. Then I have to hold the power button to turn off.

Does anyone know how can I fix this problem?

i usually save all my work on desktop. i rarely use my documents. my desktop right now is in mess, but all fine, and work being done. but wondering if more and more are added everytime, won't this slow down startup? all my icons are in form of word and excel FILES. any ideas?

I recently received a copy of Microsoft Office 2003 and when I go and install it on my computer I get this message "Microsoft Office setup cannot continue because the installation source has been corrupted" after I put in the product key. I've already been to microsoft.com to check their help and support and downloaded the things that will "fix" the problem but it still pops up with the same messge. Can you give me any other suggestions as to what I can do to fix this problem? Thank you, I would really appreciate it.
