I know your not suppose to answer a Question with a question. But what happen the the one that comes with the DVD Player?
Window Media Player will work. Download for free a MS Download Center...

if your computer has its own dvd player (hardware) it should come with the program ready to pop the dvd and watch. Otherwise you'll need to buy it then install it. The dvd player will come with its own disk, then you'll just have to follow the wizard, but again, if you don't have the hardware, downloading the software is pointless.

Download "Video Lan" or as it's also known, the "VLC" player. It's free, works well, and easy to use. It can be read about and downloaded at the below site. Good luck.

in my opinion the best is gom media player,and it's very simple to use... also its freeware so ur allowed to download it for free

First you have to have a DVD Rom drive. If you don't, it won't happen. If you do, you should already have the software.
