My homepage is set up as msn, however when i click on a site i want to visit it redirects me to different sites, sometimes with a porn content. I have noticed that when i am being redirected the site begins with bxru! I have checked my internet connection settings and they seem ok. I also have spyware programme running. This just seemed to happen overnight. Can anyone help please?

I even tried free-codecs downloaded AC3 Filter and DivX..
Still cant play them. What am i supposed to do?

I use the computer for e-mail, web surfing, some banking and an occasional Ebay purchase.
Will XP Home suit my needs or is it necessary to get XP Prof.?
Is Home less robust and more vulnerable to "crashing" and hackers?

I have deleted large files, removed programs we don't use any more... I did a disk clean, a defrag, shut down my firewall and virus protection, gone through all the trouble shooting methods listed on the troubleshooting site, and it still will not download. Anyone have any suggestions?

I really need to know a good video editting software, as I needed for school. I am really using the software for a documentary, and I need somthing good in that area of video editting. For example it must have the abilty to narrate over the video, and include the abilty to zoom & pan photos. I've never really used good software, as I have used photo story 3 in the past (History Fair) but only the use of photos and voice will not cut it this year. Any ideas?

I typed a word with an apostrophe in the Microsoft word. Such as don’t. I copied and paste it into compose of Yahoo. Some recipients’ email receiving interface could not recognise apostrophe properly. The apostrophe became wired symbol or unidentified word. don’t. When I typed apostrophe directly into compose, then it is fine. The problem is Microsoft word. Any place I can adjust the setting to solve it?

For some reason, my Windows Explorer did not start. . . I can access programs on my Windows XP through Task Manager, and everything else seems to run fine, but I don't have a desktop or start menu to speak of. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I have Nero SmartStart and it says " file is not compatible" whenever I try to open .avi video files onto the "Nero Digital Video Disk" selection... How can i make the files compatible OR what software would i need to get WITHOUT getting a free trial OR having to pay for that are .avi compatible? can you get me some names of those software IF there is no way to make .avi video files compatible with nero?
