Yes, you need the program to open the files. No it isn't free.

The same way you download ANY downloadable file! Aint gonna do you much good to download somethin you aint got the software for tho! Yes its an autocad file and you wont find autocad free!

I ran into this problem once. You can download a free autocad reader to open it. Just do a search to find it.

You cant get the whole autocad program free but you can get a program that will open it up and read it. I WORK IN MANUFACTURING AND USE THIS ALL THE TIME.

Yes AutoCAD is a very expensive program ($3995). If you want to just view a .dwg file you can download the viewer from Autodesk.

You need the Autocad software.. No its not free.. it is a rather expensive and complicated program..Good luck

Whichever you pick...do not use Registry cleanser because it no longer purely re-prepared my registry....it also re-prepared the booting up!! So i might want to keep all my archives.... I had to purchase yet another computing device with abode windows professional on, take the former problematical disc out, fix it quickly into the hot computing device and extract each and every of the archives onto the hot computers problematical disc.

There is a cad viewer you can download, I think it is from AutoDesk. I haven't used it in a long time, I will try to locate the info from their website.
