It would be helpful if you could tell us what software you're talking about and how you generally use the activation code.
Here's some general guidelines:
* if it's your cell phone, go to a cell phone store specific to your cell provider. That is, if it's Cingular, go to a Cingular store, don't go to a small store that happens to also sell cell phones.
* if it's something else, then search on Yahoo for the software manufacturers website, click on Contact and call the 800 customer support number. Some Contact pages allow you to email questions, but in most cases, the 800# call is quicker and more effective.

Sounds Like a MS Product . If so Just contact MS Support at 1-800-936-3500 (U.S. and Canada Only) and they shoul dbe able to assist you.
